SAP HCM/Payroll Consultant

Location: Remote

Job Summary

The candidate must be a subject matter expert in SAP HCM modules with strong payroll hands-on experience. Have expertise in U.S. & International payroll gross-to-net calculations, payroll rules and schemas with strong understanding of payroll clusters and payroll results. Must have experience working with both regular and off-cycle payroll runs. Must have payroll year-end configuration experience, Support Package testing, month-end accruals, time quota accruals and grants through Time Evaluation, experience enhancing Time schemas and rules, benefit plans configuration. Strong configuration experience and demonstrated understanding of HCM processes is required. The primary focus will be personnel management, org. management, U.S. payroll, Benefits and Time Management.

Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years of configuration experience in SAP HCM sub modules (Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Benefits, Payroll, Time Management
  • Minimum 5 years of designing functional specification document for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflows (RICEFW) objects.
  • Must have strong payroll gross-to-net calculation experience.
  • Experience applying and testing BSI tubs, updating SUI rates, work with Basis team to apply cyclic and other release updates.
  • Must have experience to configure payroll rules and schemas and have ability to debug payroll driver program to identify issues and root cause.
  • Must have strong understanding of payroll clusters and payroll results.
  • Experience with payroll year-end configuration.
  • Strong experience on month-end accruals and FI postings.
  • Must have experience configuring Benefit plans, Insurance and Savings plans and setup wagetypes for payroll deductions.
  • Experience with Time Evaluation to accrue and grant absence quotas.
  • Experience leading and testing HR support packages.
  • Experience executing HR/HCM configuration, functional documentation, testing plans & results, system documentation & training materials;
  • Experience interacting with business users to understand business requirements and then configure SAP with efficiency & accuracy;
  • Must have experience working with SAP technical developers to get end to end solutions developed.
  • Experience to lead, coordinate and perform all testing (UAT, Unit & Integration) before releasing new code/break fixes to production.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Must have strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving abilities.
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
  • ABAP development experience is a plus.
